At Chougan Chowk, the road splits\u2014one goes 16 km to the paragliding takeoff point, and another is just 1.5 km to the landing site. Around the chowk, there are a few guest houses, a wine shop, and some snack shops. If you turn left, you\u2019ll reach the Tibetan colony market area with monasteries like Tsering Jong, cafes, handicraft shops, and a Volvo bus stand, stretching 1.5 km. Surrounded by oak and rhododendron forests, it has two small streams near Camp Oak View, the best camp for paragliding at Bir Billing. It offers Machaan Cottages, Glass House Cottage, Family Cottage, and Machaan Tents. The sunset point has great views, and it\u2019s 5 degrees cooler than Bir in summer. It\u2019s a busy village with narrow roads, a few guest houses, and pine forests in the background. There are also some tea gardens that add to its charm. It\u2019s a good spot to rest after enjoying paragliding at Bir Billing.
