Day 1: Arrive Bir Billing

You can stay overnight in a guesthouse and start the trek the next day. However, it is recommended to stay in Bir and explore attractions and enjoy other activities before starting the trek.

Day 2: Bir to Raj Gundha

On the day you’ve finalized to start this epic trek, get up early, ensure all essential items are packed, and have breakfast. After breakfast, you need to drive to take off-site at Billing, which is around 16 kilometers from Bir. The road from the take-off site to Raj Gunda, which is around 14 kilometers, is still not in a good condition and remains closed to vehicles during the monsoon season. However, you can start trekking from the take-off site in case the road toward Raj Gundha is blocked. After reaching Raj Gundha, you will start your journey to your next destination, Plachak.

Raj Gundha To Plachak

From Raj Gundha, an 8 km trek passing through dense Deodar, Rhododendron, and Oak forests will take you to your next destination, Plachak. In approximately 2-3 hours, you will reach Plachak, which is a serene village nestled on the Uhl river side. After reaching the location, you can stay in the forest guest house; however, no facilities or beds are available there. Don’t miss out on trying local and Nepali food at the small dhaba there.

Day 3: Plachak to Bhed Pal

From Plachak, your next destination, Bhed Pal, is 15 km away. The trail towards Bhed Pal is narrow at a few spots and features thick forests. However, as you gradually move towards the temporary shepherd’s settlement, Panihartu, the trail will expand. After resting there, start the steep uphill trek to Bhed Pal. After you reach your destination, set up the tent and stay there overnight.

Day 4: Bhed Pal to Thamsar to Udgh

Day 8: Dal Madhi to Devi Ki Madhi
